Beaver Plunge - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

I am a beaver and I do
Some polar plunging of my own,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
In and around my lodge pool zone.
For all the human plungers that
Jump in the lake for a good cause,
I do dip in my habitat,
Taking some time out from my gnaws
In a show of support for all
The wild and weird stuff humans dare,
When they do get the giving call
And show each other that they care.

Doing for good is good to be,
And humans are real good to me.
