Beaten Poem by London Turner

I see this girl
beautiful on every way
her face so perfect
her heart almost a full grey
no one can tell that
she lives that way
being beaten at times
her dad thought was okay
and what am i to do
i cant tell for shell be sent away
to cps or a foster home
so here she stays
returning to school with many bruises
more appearing each day
i said i was sorry
and quickly had him put away
hes in jail now
and my friends okay
no one would ever guess
whats shes been through to this very day.
