Be Who You Are Poem by Ray Hansell

Be Who You Are

Some times I am dreaming
Of a life I never knew
Sometimes I lay wishing
I could trade places with you

But then I came to realize
You've got your troubles to
Why would I want to trade places
When I see what you're going through

Sure you have your riches
You big house on the hill
But I realized that you have
More troubles than I ever will

So, be happy with who you are
Don't envy those who have more
Just keep your pride and dignity
That's all your need for sure
