Battle Crow Poem by Jennifer Parks

Battle Crow

The Battle Crow, I have become
one final battle I fight.
A war not waged against earthly foe,
yet I battle for my life.

The Wolf stands guard upon my left
my friend from time unknown;
by my side till the very end,
how closely we have grown!

The Leopard Queen is on my right,
a silent powerful force.
She too, is my protector and guide
till my life has run it's course.

At my back, the Grizzly stands
motherly kind yet strong;
brute force that keeps the shadows at bay
till I have sung my final song.
