Bathtime Poem by Tin Can

Bathtime

Rating: 5.0

In my bath the water is really hot.
Cold water in my bath...? I like, but not a lot.
For on immersion I like the pain,
As on insertion, it synapses the brain,
And I loose all track of time in a shot.

The geezer is on for no less than an hour,
The temperature makes me tingle and cower.
Then the process of adding the scent,
Makes me smell magnificent,
Much better than having a shower.

I've added plenty of salt, foam and creme
To infuse my very being.
Bath salts and foam will only ever moan,
If you ignore them or leave them alone,
So I allow them to take part in the theme.

Once I'm deep within,
And the heat is burning my skin,
I've nowhere to hide,
So can only swallow my pride
And wait for the cooling to kick in.

As I slowly insert my bot,
The bath water is way too hot,
And this hour long soak,
Is really no joke,
And laughing you'll find me not.

But there to my delight
My tab I see is in sight.
Therefore not to fret,
I'll watch my favourite box set,
As I stretch to put out the light.

Once the episode is over and done,
The heat I've overcome,
Go to sleep I really must not.
For my body is ever so hot,
I must watch out for hypertension.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My relaxation time is in my bath. I eat, drink, watch movies, listen to music, come up with ideas, ponder, dwell, dream, reminisce, and wish, in my bath.
