De Okan, A very deep sadness. Very poetically expressed. I think too many of us are afraid of sadness, Sadness is a normal feeling. I admire people who can live through sadness without shame and this poem is a perfect example of this. Writing about sadness can bring some relief. I know people who systematically push away sadness and keep it somewhere is a remote corner of thier mind where it is eating away their peace of mind. Beter to just allow it flood your mind, let the tears roll and sooner rather than later happiness will return.

With the heartache never to be seen on any x-ray, an interesting line, on which I have always thought, unhappiness, great sorrow, can cause illnesses aging, even turn hair white over night.
