I am a fruit bat and I do,
Up to 20 hours per day,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Sleep and in an upside down way,
Hanging from the ceiling so that
When I wake I'm ready to fly
Wherever in my habitat
That might happen to catch my eye.
While I'm hanging out I do wrap
Around me like a cape, my wings,
Allowing all the more cozy nap
While I am off in my dreamings.
So if you catch me napping, yup,
Sooner or later I'll wake up.
