Nine years ago
America started to fall
No one saw it coming
No one made the call

President Bush was elected
And he began his rule
Soon, all prices began to rise
Including the price of fuel

People cried out
To no one that would hear
But the answer to their problems
Would soon be tue and clear

An election was held to pick a new prez
Time was ticking away on the clock
Who new that a hero lay in the midst
And that his name was Barack
