Ballet Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Ballet

Rating: 5.0

Pastel-pink and cream,
vaporous pirouettes
in a cascade of sound…
slender silhouettes
of nymphs undulating
melodically,
shuddered with jocundity;
grace tiptoes
in rhythmic fluttering,
teasing playfully
at the heartstrings;
unfurling suave wings,
floating…
in an exuberant
balletic levitation!
—a superb
celestial harmony
emanating
fluctuations of fluttering,
diaphanous-white
butterfly wings,
and swan feathers
elevating upon the stellar
infinitude of the firmament,
of a divine dance
in a magnificent resonance…
intensifying a lunar,
argent incandescence
of a spectacular rain
of sounds and rainbows
culminating—
in beatitude…!
