Bad Choice Poem by Ima Ryma

Bad Choice

If o'er the last two hundred years,
The world's resources spent on wars,
In which no body profiteers,
Instead were spent finding cures for
Diseases plagueing humankind,
And sharing with the world all round
Whatever cures that we may find.
All together we should be bound.
The humans who have not, at least
Should get the cures the haves have got
For physical ills of the beast.
Have humanity, wars have not.

To cure all world disease - we could.
But by nature we're bad, not good.
