Back To Bed Poem by Thor Fabian Pettersen

Back To Bed

They say I'm lazy. They say, and a slouch.
They say, you
Always resting on the couch.
Say, not contributing in any way.
Say, I am the reason the cloud is gray.
Hey! You are right. I am.
I am lazy.
But that's cuz the world is turnin' crazy!
I am work-shy, I'm that guy, you know why?
Cuz in 20 45,
Bye, bye, sky.
So 'cuse me if I will idle away.
Say,
I am the reason the cloud is gray.
Hey! You. You
Always resting on the couch.
They say I'm lazy. They say, and a slouch.
If I do nuthin', the world will go
On.
So why must I do somethin'? Man, c'mon!
Bye. Lock the door, miss.
Let me turn my head.
Keep on working
While
I crawl back to bed.

...

I say, it will come either way!
I'm the reason the cloud is gray?
