Back Away Poem by David Corman

Back Away

Visiblity. Low.
Lightning
I've Missed the turn.
Swirving Nerves
I Remember you riding next to me.
I think I Realize.
I Understand that I should have let you drive.
That might be the Reason you Backed Away.
You went so Far.
I can Barely see you.
But.
I can Still see you.
You're Still There.
Maybe just Barely.
Enough that I can Still see you.
You Know Who You Are.
I Still count you Among my Blessings.
You mean So Much to me.
I see your Shadow in the Clouds.
Your Image.
Only an Image of an Image.
Visibility. Zero.
Chance of Rain. High.
