Bacchus Poem by Frank Avon

Bacchus

What is as it is
must be demolished
for what must be
to be:

his hammer
and his anvil
each must work
its way

with the fury
of fire,
lightning,
sparkling stars

for us to see
his tygers of wrath,
his stallions
of instruction.
