Bsouthern Haiku Poem by Barry A. Lanier

Bsouthern Haiku

Winter wind's rippling
Lily pads on the surface
Then is a stillness

July wind's rippling
Lily pads on the surface
The fish awaken

Green lily new dawn
Mornin ushering the sunrise
Life awakens

The morning turtle
Slowly peeking out of his shell
His time to get up

Georgia flock of geese
Speaking in Southern haiku
Flying the wrong way

Quit eyein' that girl
An roll your tongue in please
That gal is jailbait

Vast open expanse
A brand new kitchen tile foor
A roach exploring
