Away Poem by Maisea Hodgkin

Away

A single tear fell breaking the icy surface of the ocean,
as she cried the rain came down slowly and softly
rippling away her reflection.
The rain steadied washing away her
guilt, sorrow, and frustration.
The clouds cleared, leaving her alone,
a soft whimper was all that was left.
