Autumn Memories Poem by Richard Theze

Autumn Memories

Rating: 5.0

Those days,
Once extant are,
In Autumn, like
Defoliating trees
Dropping
Leaves at my feet
That once fallen,
Lose colour and
Fast fading,
Become
Monochromatic
Somehow, like
A black and white
Film I watch,
As they flicker
And dance,
A last dance,
Before
The bonfire.
