Autumn; Life Cycle Poem by Ilme SonCries

Autumn; Life Cycle

Not long ago my skin was red, now it’s yellow and bleak
My roots are shaking threads and are getting weak
All my likewise have fallen down and disintegrating
It’s only the strong ones in comfort still smiling
I’m struggling to hang tight but this wind gust is too heavy
As I’m falling slowly to earth, my mind’s getting bleary
Now I’m reunited with my likewise and we’re disintegrating
Only strong ones will not have a hard time forgetting
