Autumn Poem by Jordan Hanley

Autumn

Rating: 5.0

Gentle winds through rustling trees
Light mist through a chilled breeze
Colored leaves loosen and fall into place
Sunlight rays shine down, as the sky unveils space
Beautiful cool winds wrap around like grasping hands
Birds chirp in the pink and orange dawn sending their songs through unsung lands
Groves of green grass fill the fields over night
Sidewalks disappear causing confusion and a little fright
Pumpkins growing big, round, and orange as can be
Kids laughing, running, playing with glee
Beauty all around through the fall of the day
Soon the leaves fade and the snow drops as winter comes to play
