Autumn Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Autumn

Quick succession
Moving reels
Mismatched pieces
Falling leaves
Golden orange
Were once green
Heaped up memories
Winter freeze.

Austere Autumn
Deep in thoughts
Bare skeleton
Trees stand tall
Softer sunshine
Times have changed
Grey scale intoned
Preordained.
