Auspicious Polarity Poem by Hope Hills

Auspicious Polarity

Yes, I like green eggs and ham. Why, THANK YOU, Mam.
Please feel free to join me. Friends are always welcome here.
But... I cannot; for I know you not!
Stay anyway my new found friend. Come in.
I'm not sure I am allowed... You see the mirror reflects me.
Please, I gladly offer you this meal.
I mustn't... For I know you not!
My cup runneth over... I offer you these roses and do so give you -
ONE AND ALL.

Kind sir, you seem sincere, yet, I am much too tall and again...
I say unto you; I know you not tatall!
Here my good friend; is a nice chair - Yes, I do so Care.
That you might; in spite, but still I cannot bare.
I shall joyously choose to... but, Share.
My ears do not wish to discern.
If that is your will, my friend, I shall kindly abide
My eyes see someone, but you are not there... So I do stare.

Friend, here is my shirt; for it is only your happiness I so seek.
You speak of happiness, yet what do you know of it?
An answer is in our midst.
I shall sit for a bit.
The sand is soft and fine; the tide keeps moving in perfect
rythum and ryhyme.
Are you out of your mind? Friends are said to be hard to find.
But, I am here now by your side.
Appreciating your inner beauty in stride

I wasn't clear I could go my own way.
Courageous one; you believed from the day.
I have been told what to do and what to say.
Yes, my lovely friend, maybe so, but it is entirely your choice...
As you now know.
Is that really so?
Together we shall go.
