August-Profoundly Honored Poem by Rick Elpers

August-Profoundly Honored

Rating: 5.0

Stopping to gaze upon
A picture of sweet beauty
Such a tender smile
That Captured my soul
So I pondered her words
And discovered such art
Such grace and imagery
Lush with her soul
Hidden within loveliness
She allows me to peer
Into her depths
So delicately, yet no detail
Left behind
Revealing pure the life
Only she can know
To me given
Freely
