At The Supermarket Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

At The Supermarket

At the supermarket,
To buy a gallon of water to iron my clothes;
Hear, gear, sear, wear, pear, dear, bear, ear, near!
To come across other items at the supermarket;
Being ambitious!
With my love for art and poetry.
Feed, seed, need, reed, weed, creed, heed, greed, breed!
Driven by the need to help other and,
To take care of my life in peace.
At the supermarket!
To exhibit my skills;
With the style of my writing and painting to the world,
And, to buy a gallon of water to rion my clothes.
Very passionate!
Growing up wasn't all that smooth with me in Ghana;
Along the lines of life,
Amd to expose my mind to the people with my talents.
On, reckon!
With my belief and with my faith;
Searching the shelves of the supermarket for what i want.
