At Last Poem by Saskia Griffith

At Last

I have been searching,
all my life,
in every corner, every home, store, the entire nation;
to find someone like you.
At last,
I found you my sweetheart,
so humble, with a heart so soft and kind;
a smile so bright and refreshing.
At last,
we stood at the altar before the priest, family and friends to exchange our vows.
At last our beautiful children came,
whom are so beautiful and warm to the touch.
At last,
we will be in each other's arm now and forever until we draw our final breaths.
At last!

Beautiful love poem, well articulated and nicely penned from the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Saskia.
