Ask The Moon! Poem by Shubham Praveen

Ask The Moon!

Rating: 5.0

Went walking in the night,
saw the lake sparkled with light,
fishes shined like a star so bright,
Trees were dancing & leaves swayed in a rhythm alike
The foxes giggled and the wolves howled in excite

Girls looked overtly seductive challenging the plight
Have I been dreaming? Not quite.
Heart felt harmony & lips started singing in reprise
breeze ruffled my hair in a blissful sprite

Then I arrive at the mountains reaching the heights
Humming the same song it felt as if, in delight
A tableau i can't indite

A herd of stones closely alight
There sat an old man with his beard white
He looked at me & smiled at my surprise
I asked in revering tone so light,

'Sir, How this magical sight? '

'Ask the Moon' he said.

How this magical sight? No doubt it's lovely but hidden hidden magic of your eyes and heart that felt it and described so nicely is amazing.
