As You Go Away Poem by William B. Deutscher

As You Go Away

Your face
The lingering loss
Of sunlight on the green

Your scent
The pleasuring play
Of moonlight in the dark

Your mouth
The tenuous touch
Of starlight from the eaves

Your eyes
The sheltering shine
Of nightlight to the end
