As Time Goes By
As time goes bye & bye
I look at how things were.
Dramatically more up
both for her and for me
yet we must settle
for the new much less
upstanding if not droopy look
with on the one hand
much hair flowing less
I'm dramatically surprised
by how things look
from a sun setting horizon.
