As time draws near
For us to run
I question what we fear
Will we let it win?

I fear loss
And what it brings
The fear of losing you
My everything

I try to hide it
I try to run
But you're the pilot
And I'm the gun

When the time gets here
There will be no more
As I look around
I see you on the floor

You are chained and bloody
Battle wounded
I see your body
Though my view is clouded

As the time draws near
I know it is time
For you to disappear
And forever shine like the sun
