As She Arrives Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

As She Arrives

Rating: 5.0

Breezy moments before her arrival
That none what so in the world can rival,

The fury unfurled well before comes she,
Much like the frenzy of a stormy sea,

The thunderbolts that open up flood gate,
Where ‘pon my life looks as if in a spate.

Then a mighty shower follows
And my life lights up from its lows.

Thence ah sets in a balmy calm,
And my life's unique soothing balm!

Yes, talking I'm of my life's tender love,
Monsoon's first few showers from far above—

A strange calm then follows sudden downpour
That touches ah my being's deepest core.
