As I Walk Each Step (Alone In The Street) Poem by Inam Gulzar

As I Walk Each Step (Alone In The Street)

Rating: 4.0

As I walk each step
And take a deep breath
I feel that no one is with me around
But from my back I hear sounds scattered

As I walk each step
And take a deep breath
And something is confusing me
I think that and
I am afraid that someones behind me

As I walk each step
And take a deep breath
I think that I m going to be trapped
But when I ask myself this question why?
I find that I am cornered by my own thinking

As I walk each step
And take a deep breath
I fell that I am grounded
But when I ask myself Why is it so?
I think I herd someone calling me from behind

As I walk each step
And take a deep breath
I see my destination in front of me
I see the light on
And the window glass broken
I ignore it and walk forward
And when I open the door and begin to say hello
I think for what I was so scattered
And when I open the door
THERE IS NO ONE AGAIN AND I AGAIN TAKE A DEEP BREATH
