As I'M Slowly Dying Poem by Hailey Agnew

As I'M Slowly Dying

Rating: 3.5

as i'm slowly dying,
nobody knows it but me.
as i'm slowly dying,
i've never felt so free.
i sit here all alone,
just knowing you never cared.
i sit here all alone,
thinking of every touch we shared.
i sit here thinking,
i'm done crying over you.
i sit here thinking,
how you were never true.
i sit and cry now knowing,
any moment could be my last.
i sit and cry now knowing,
is all goes by so fast.
i sit here knowing,
i've wasted so much time.
i sit here knowing,
this could be my last rhyme.
every time i think of you,
i remind myself life is short.
everytime i think of you,
i remind myself your a guy of the worst sort.
so as i live my life,
knowing one day i'll die,
i sit in this single chair,
and i refuse to cry.
as i'm slowly dying,
as is the whole world,
i know your just a guy,
missing out on a beautiful girl.
