As I Lay Dying Poem by Bree Swart

As I Lay Dying

Rating: 4.8

Laying on my deathbed,
Wishing those words to be unsaid,
Like nails on a chalkboard,
It makes me cringe,
But one day, one day,
I shall seek my revenge.

Deeper and deeper, my grave I dig,
My sorrow song fills thee air,
As I scream and cry a painful melody,
While ripping out my hair.

My vision went blurry,
I had gone too far,
For this cut, will not only make a scar,
I shall die a thousand deathes,
and have nightmares while I sleep,
There is no mend for this broken soul,
So I shall always weep.
