Arms Or Hands Poem by Phil Daniels

Arms Or Hands

There is one who pulls us down
Laughs and jokes and plays the clown
Jigs and dances with such glee
They're mine, no longer free

So as the Darkness has to flee
Turn on the Light that's in me
For Satan no longer has a hold
Open my mouth make me bold

One hears that Pharasaical prayer
Which charms the people, oh how you dare
For God watches from above
Your actions they show no love

Now having been confronted
For now you appear quite dead
Heart and Spirit are long deceased
Gods Spirit has now decreased

What beauty to fall into Gods loving arms
Filled with His goodness and loving charms
But so sad to fall into His awesome hand
His treatment wont be so bland
