Are We Different? Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Are We Different?

Similarities in life seem unrelated and distant
What happens is isolated or so we think
We are unique…with a history that is distinct

No one else has felt our joy or sadness
All that happens…revolves around just one
Until noticing another and seeing a rerun

Strangers from degrees on the compass
Start to realize that all individuals share
Compassion that is in the flux of repair

Happily ever after may dim and darkened
Often falling short…eventually changing course
Emotions now unite… an awaking force

Nice poetry having universal message of brotherhood. I'm glad to read it. It like my poem HUMAN.
