Arching Silverlight Poem by Jon Hadley

Arching Silverlight

Arching Silverlight

As the Wind calls, my heart breaks
For I am not free to climb upon her,
Take flight and listen while the lofty angels
Play songs that whisper in my ear

With longing eyes I stare out
Gazing across the waters
As the waves playfully dance
And caress my swollen face

And the voices sing through the dark
Casting shadows on the floor
And iridescent eyes glow
Piercing splitting my open hear
