Everybody knows the secrets
Of our little town
Everybody talks in whispers
As the gossip spreads around
Everyone knows all the lies
That spread like wild fire
The worse one's always simmer
As people continue to inquire
Many people think they know
Exactly what's going on
When in reality they don't know
That lies can cause as much harm
All the misinformation
That people like to spread
Many people just seem to repeat
Everything that's already been said
Living in a small town
Can be charming at times
But I think it would be much nicer
If their own business people would mind
