it sounds more
of a confession from a friend
that you tell here
but the friend need not know
it or
that he need not be him anymore,

somehow it assumes the warmth
of the pillow, and it becomes
anybody's warmth,
or the coldness of your hands,
which assumes the soul of
the stone and it becomes everybody's
stone,

it is the universality of this thing
or that human being,
it assumes the dress of humanity,
its shoes that fit everyone who want
to walk protecting the fragility of
the naked foot.

such is the nature of this feeling,
and it is nothing to think about,
or feel, for by then it simply becomes
another poem.
