Another Drink, For Another Long Night, Said The Moose Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Another Drink, For Another Long Night, Said The Moose

Rating: 4.0

I looked into her eyes with such confidence
Again the question was brought up
I answered into the once soft eyes that caressed my soul
then she
I looked into her eyes once more
Already knowing the answer
Bleak
cold-hearted-ly as it seems
She stared off into the night that once masked her emotion
As there's no more need
The angels whom guarded the night hid the stars as again she stared off into the vagueness of the empty sky
If eternity looms with such steps
why does your voice tremble with such fear
