A new day is upon us
As the sun breaks through the clouds
The morning will be soft and quiet
By mid-day life will be loud

The sounds of cars and buses passing
People playing in the park
The noise will ring out loud
Long after it’s been dark

But it is still a brand new day
For love to bloom and grow
But I also know that somewhere out there
There is a love that is dying slow+

Another day in which dreams are born
Another day where a dream may come true
Another day for me
To share, another day with you
