Another Day Poem by Fiona Davidson

Another Day

Another day, another month
They come and go so swiftly
I blink and then turn the page
And the seconds race right by

Another tear falls over my skin
To join the river cried before
Moving on seems so easy
Just one step then one more

Today is just another day
It begins and ends in night
The sun rises then falls away
The moon will come again

Strength comes from lifes adventures
It lifts us from the grief of this world

Loved the poem Fiona. The last two lines are so apt and put everything within into perspective. Best Steve

OMG Fi, you know I can not only relate to this word for word, but I can identify with everything you said here. It is what I said in so many other words, when I was 12 years old. That was over 40 years ago. I am very happy to see it finally put into words that others can see. There was always one more tear to join the river that I had cried already. Thank you very much for sharing this. A 10+++++ Love & hugs, Barbara
