Ann And Tim Poem by Francis Duggan

Ann And Tim

Rating: 5.0

How lucky indeed is the arrogant young Tim
That the beautiful young Ann she has fallen for him
To mother his children and become his wife
Some men one can say rather lucky in life

The difference as people between them is great
A more compassionate and kinder Human World to live in she helps to create
with her nice caring ways and to life a beautiful attitude
And he is so different so arrogant and rude

The look of true love for him she has in her eyes
The ways of love and life never cease to surprise
Perhaps she sees in him what others cannot see
That in their case opposites attract is how it seems to be

The one that she loves is not a nice young man
He is very different in his ways to Ann
Love in some of it's workings as quite puzzling remain
And seems way beyond ordinary me to explain.
