Anger Upsided Poem by Ragy Sandid

Anger Upsided

Paralyzed from the waist
got up to do the chore
Had a cut at the waist
said "I'll do no more"

Had a sliver spoon
Said he'll reach for the stars
Had nothing but a silver moon
And studied under the stars

Some were angry and why
They said it's not for them
Feet to the ground, blamed the sky
In order to fix the problem

Some didn't see it that way at all,
They figured it's the same sky
It shines and rains on all
It's how you ask the question why

Take the other road, doomed or saved
Yet taking roads is a given
How many lost ones were brave
Before highs and lows driven

Let the sky fall, illogical it seems
Look down, on or up won't change much
It's the power in you to steer your dreams
That makes your life such

We're all challenged as the stadium boos and cheers
Listen to the better sound
Something in you soothes your fears
Tower tall above the crowd
