Angels Poem Poem by Danny Taylor

Angels Poem

Rating: 0.5

Silently I wait above you
Sitting, thinking, knowing why
Since you’ve been born I’ve been beside you
Wiping tears when you would cry

When you were younger you could see me
Time and age has blurred your sight
I feel your heartbeat when you’re sleeping
I light your dreams of darkened night

You sat in prayer every Sunday
So much love inside your heart
I held you but you couldn’t feel me
When your life was torn apart

Doctors tried but couldn’t help it
All throughout you weren’t sad
You knew your life was not yet over
A new adventure to be had

Silently I wait above you
In this kingdom that I roam
I will guide you till’ forever
Now its time to take you home…
