I found an angel today
And I knew it was you
When were you going to say
I love you too?

I sit here wondering
What happened to me
But then I think
You are an angel I see

God blessed me
And thought about us
But he never regrets it
Even though we cuss

All the other girls
Never knew what they had
You stole it from me
And I couldn't be mad

Now I lay here
All alone and sad
But I know you will return
And then I will be glad.
