And Watch The World Go By
I sit at the edge of where I am
And watch the world go by
Faces and lives in many moods and directions
The whole human spectacle
In all its infinite varieties of glory and pain
How I love so much of it
And cannot bear so much of it
And would be a part of so much of it
And long to escape from much of it
Life goes by
People go by
I will go by.
