And Now He Ignores Me Poem by Plabita Bhaskar

And Now He Ignores Me

Rating: 5.0

Planted life and ecstasy
An orchard beheld the core.
Vowed to live and die along
Nor would ask for more.

Like a tender sapling grow
Blossomed buds to play
Wind that cuddled warm embrace
Breathe that sighed solace.

Gentle wisp of smell I know
Close when he would drag me near
Soft pelt of kisses flow
Delicate cheeks in love to smear.

All unrest now valiantly bleed
Love no more profound
In voiceless screams my heart brawl loud
With none to fathom and none to heed.

I so in my destitute weep
Swollen eyes and moisten cheeks
Hard to convince, my nipped mind rest
That now he ignores me.

An insightful train of thought nicely brought forth in beautiful rhyme scheme from the heart. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Plabita.

A love affair gone sour. Both phases captured quite nicely and succinctly. Thanks. Love no more profound In voiceless screams my heart brawl loud
