... And I Defy Own Mind Poem by Malaya Roses

... And I Defy Own Mind

Hold me
If you could survive this lost
I am no longer yours
Spat words over love
Lullaby of the fool
Once I was there
To break own shadow
Meet a death.
Millions of angels could not mend this heart
Predicament in human
Smashed faith
Dejected woman in this failure
Derided to the lowest shame
Calling my slumber miseries
Afflicted to the bones
I wake up
From Sana'a to Agra
From Malaya to Europe
Blood of warrior
In this wrecked soul
So done
I am done with a heinous lusty you
Defy me defy god
Forsaken life is taken
Now
What say you?
