O, Dawn,
you are the nascent light
the budding daughter of the sky,
you come forth out of darkness
to brighten our day,
in glory great;
and with bountiful promises
you tread the affection
that the sky- your mother-
in her vastness provides
to disburse joy equally to all
your precious gift

You, the harbinger of the light,
arouse humans, birds, animals
and plants all alike out of the rest
that your sister- the night- provides

We bow down to your mercy
before you leave after dispersing
all your abounding wealth for nothing
