for Daniel Brick
and all of us who seek
the ministry of nature
Winter morning.
Sun is risen two full hours.
In its brightness through the windows
in blurry bars and spots—
its contrast with the shadows on the curtains—
there seems to be an excess in its blazing
to jump us into day—make up
for all the hours of night's cold—
which beckons me outside
to walk its broad-lit paths
despite the chill that no doubt lingers still.
Beautiful poem! Time to get up and walk over the night's crop of snow.

Both , you and Daniel Brick are great poets of Nature and your poems show your love for Nature exploring its variance , beauty and its impact on human beings. We are part of nature and nature is within us. When there is cold in winter, the brilliant sunlight makes us jump for work.it is an invitation to leave thie limited space of the house and come to the vast openness of nature.
