An Angry Man Poem by caroline ferguson

An Angry Man

When the darkness comes
You get so mad
You make me afraid
And I feel sad
The anger in you eyes
Is plan to see
Even when you are not angry
With me
If I am around I get it all
The abuse
You make me feel
That I’m no use
I feel so small and insecure
For my safety I’m not sure
I know you love me
But it’s not right
You are an angry man
My son tonight
You won’t get help
You have too much pride
But the anger is eating
You up in side
I love you so you are my child
But at times your temper
Can be wild
