Among the local art lovers he is the peoples choice
The artist who loves the sound of his own voice
Quite a good artist and successful as well
And his work in galleries does readily sell

Though far beyond the town he does not know of fame
As a local artist his is a great name
And of his narcissistic ways he does leave none in doubt
Since of himself he only likes talking about

With his sort humility is never their thing
His own praises he is only willing to sing
Into self promotion in quite a big way
There are so many like him in the World of today

Why some people are so self centered I will never know why
His sort could not be humble if they even did try
Egotistical people so many admire
Those who of singing their own praises never seem to tire

One can say of him he is not short of a fan
Among local art lovers he is an admired man
But far beyond the borders of the big rural town
He is a stranger to artistic renown.
